Audi continues to push boundaries in the New Year

After a successful 2013 performance, Audi launches into 2014 with the A3 Sedan and a string of other activities and tailor made experiences that immerse customers in the Audi brand.
Looking to the future, Audi is investing €22 billion (S$38 million) to increase the product portfolio and enter new market segments to become the top premium brand by 2020.
Starting with the A3 Sedan, Audi is entering the world's largest market segment - the compact sedan. The dynamic four-door car offers all the strengths of the A3 model series with low weight, thanks to lightweight design, powerful and highly efficient engines and numerous high-end solutions for infotainment as well as driver assistance system.
With its sporty stance on the road and interiors characterised by impressive attention to detail, the Audi A3 Sedan is designed to stun. Perfect for city driving with its 1.4-litre TFSI engine, the A3 Sedan also perfectly capitalises the revised categorisation of the COE system that will kick in starting February.
Producing 122bhp and 200Nm of torque, the powerplant is paired sweetly with a seven-speed S-tronic transmission to deliver creamy smooth gear shifts, powering the car from standstill to 100km/h in 9.3 seconds before achieving a top speed of 211km/h.
Thanks to Audi's efficient technologies on board, the A3 Sedan returns an impressive fuel economy of 5.0L/100km and a low CO2 emission of 116g/km.
"The launch of the Audi A3 Sedan is a significant milestone for Audi Singapore as we enter into the new market segment of compact sedans. More impressively, the car was also awarded the coveted 2013 Golden Steering Wheel award. The Audi A3 Sedan will be officially launched at the Audi Centre Singapore starting in February with prices starting from S$180,550 (at press time).
