Audi R8 LMS Cup Asia kicks off in Korea

Audi has kicked off the 2014 season of its famous R8 LMS Cup series in Yeongam, South Korea.
The season opener began on Saturday, 17th May, and will mark the debut of the racing series at the 5.62km Korea International Circuit.
The track features a 1.2km straight - the longest in Asia, a series of switchbacks between turns four and six, as well as a section modelled after a street circuit.
The race weekend will also see the debut of a new push-to-pass boost feature for the R8 LMS race cars and added weight for podium winners to make the race series more challenging and exciting.
The R8 LMS Cup is the first and only race series by Audi and has grown to become one of the most popular GT series in Asia. After Korea, the competition will head to Japan, Malaysia and China before finishing at the famous Macau Grand Prix.
