BWT Alpine drivers meet fans in Velocity @ Novena

Ahead of the F1 weekend right around the corner, Alpine Singapore organised a meet and greet session with the drivers from the BWT Alpine F1 Team at the atrium of Velocity @ Novena Square.
The event was a segment within the 17-day pop-up showcase by Alpine during the Singapore Grand Prix 2024 season.
The meet and greet session was part of the Grand Prix @ Velocity showcase, which features a display of Alpine cars, along with official BWT Alpine merchandise available for sale
Happening from 6 to 22 September, the Grand Prix @ Velocity showcase features a display of Alpine A110 cars, has official BWT Alpine merchandise available, along with exclusive discounts and rewards for shoppers.
Team BWT Alpine F1 driver Esteban Ocon and Alpine Academy driver Kabir Anurag were present at the meet and greet session to share their thoughts about the upcoming Singapore Grand Prix, and to answer the questions from some lucky fans.
A fun segment sees Ocon getting familiarised with some local foods on stage; Ocon and Kabir were both presented with cute plushies of local foods
A fun segment also sees Ocon trying to pronounce a couple of local favourite dishes, and attempting to guess what they are. Ocon's pronunciation of local food such as Orh Luak (Oyster Omelette) and Roti Prata (Indian flatbread) was surprisingly good, though guessing what this dishes actually were was clearly a surmounting task. At the end of the event, both drivers were presented with adorable plushies of the Ketupat and Kueh Tutu.

The drivers then autographed on the stunning blue Alpine A110 (decorated with Ocon's race number) on stage before the drivers proceed to sign the posters that were to be given away to the fans.
The media and lucky fans walked home with freshly-autographed posters from the event
The media and happy fans walked away from the event with signed posters in hand and many photos to commemorate the occasion.
