Circle Line to return to normal operations come 27 June 2023

The LTA has announced that the Circle Line will see a return to normal operations come 27 June 2023.

The authority first announced in May 2023 that the section of the line from Dhoby Ghaut and Promenade station as well as Marina Bay and Stadium station would see an interrupted service, with only one platform in use from 9:00pm onwards on selected days, so as to facilitate additional maintenance works.

These works, it stated, were necessary as segments of the tunnel have been found to be subject to greater pressure. However, a post on the LTA's Facebook page now states that these works have progressed ahead of schedule. These necessary works are also now scheduled to be completed by the night of 26 June 2023.

Regular service operations are thus expected to begin by 27 June 2023.
