In the second round of bidding for April, Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums climbed across all private car categories. This latest climb sees premiums for Cat A now crossing the $100,000 mark, while premiums for Cat B and E have now exceed $120,000.
The 2023 Cars@Expo automotive fair, and the various discounts offered by the dealers at the event could have spurred new car buying interest across the past week. The recent launch of the 100kW BYD Atto 3 as well as the 129bhp Volkswagen Golf here could also explain the significant rise in premiums for the Cat A category this session.
