Delays for Circle Line commuters on Friday morning due to train fault

Commuters were forced to endure crowded train platforms and travelling delays after a train fault hit the Circle Line on Friday (April 8th) morning, reported The Straits Times.
Rail operator SMRT first tweeted about the incident at 7:27am, informing commuters to expect 15 minutes of additional time travel between Dhoby Ghaut and Bishan MRT stations.
The fault was cleared about 10 minutes later, although SMRT warned of crowded trains and platforms.
Its latest update at 8:09am said train service was operating normally. Those affected by the delays vented their frustrations on Twitter, with one user tweeting a photo of a large crowd at an unidentified train platform. Others complained about being stuck at stations.
