After briefly introducing itself to Singaporeans at the 2025 Singapore Motor Show, then launching at the recent The Car Expo, IM Motors is now ready to welcome local drivers to its permanent home in Singapore.
But it's not just the all-new IM5 sedan and IM6 SUV that visitors will be able to get up close with here at 11 Leng Kee Road. Also present here is MG in the form of its Cyberster, MG 4 EV, and MGS5 EV, with this gleaming space marking Eurokars Group's new flagship showroom for both brands in Singapore. Beyond just introducing IM Motors to our shores, the space is said to celebrate the expansion of the MG brand locally as it continues to grow its presence here, following its return in 2020.

In case the affiliation between both names is still unclear, IM Motors and MG share a parent in China's state-owned SAIC Motor. In fact, the former was birthed as a joint venture between SAIC, Alibaba Group, and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech, and now blazes onto the scene with the promise of cars prioritising intelligent technology and a touch of luxury.
Standard features on the IM5 sedan and IM6 SUV evince this claim quite convincingly. Even the Cat A variants of both cars come with four-wheel steering, flushed door handles that pop the doors open when you slide your fingers into them, and smart safety systems such as a 'Rainy Night Mode' for enhanced driving visibility in bad weather.

Other goodies that buyers can look forward to - regardless of variant - also include a 20-speaker IM Audio sound system, double-glazed glass used on all four doors and the panoramic glass roof, and ventilated front seats.
MG, on the other hand, is currently riding a new wave of interest among local buyers with its growing electric lineup. The past 12 months have seen the Sino-English brand welcome the Cyberster - its first electric roadster (with head-turning scissors doors to boot too) - as well as the MGS5 EV, both of which ride on its latest-generation platform designed specifically for EVs.
In the meantime, Eurokars Group states that the MG 4 EV has continued to stake its place as the bestselling electric hatchback on our island across 2024 and 2025. The strength of this lineup has led MG to record sales this year, with its new registrations to date already surpassing that of 2024's full-year figures. Concurrently, MG has announced a new pop-up store at its Service Centre located at 5 Ubi Close, which will feature the MG 4 EV and MGS5 EV (the two models are currently its top selling EVs in Singapore).
The grand opening of the flagship showroom for IM Motors and MG also comes as Eurokars Group celebrates its milestone 40th anniversary. In 2026, the Group's portfolio is set to expand even further with its new distributorships of China's oldest passenger car brand, Hongqi, as well as Sunwin, a bus manufacturer also under the wing of SAIC Motor.

Speaking at the launch, Ms Charmain Kwee, Group Executive Director of Eurokars Group, reaffirmed the Group's mission of staying ahead with the times and elevating the car ownership experience for local buyers, while highlighting the special place that 11 Leng Kee Road holds in her heart. (It previously served as the launchpad for BMW Eurokars Auto back in October 2022, when the Group first clinched the BMW dealership in Singapore.)
Ms Kwee also noted, "The strategic choices of bringing these marques into Singapore ensure that Eurokars Group remains at the forefront of Singapore's sustainable and technologically advanced mobility future."
