HDB app and website show availability of parking lots

HDB is offering more means for motorists to access real time information on Housing Board car park lots.
Launched in July, the Mobile@HDB smartphone application allows motorists to find out if there are available short term lots in HDB car parks with the Electronic Parking System. This is alongside a service that lets drivers find car parks within 400 metres of their current location.
HDB has also made this information available to the public via its website since Monday.
The effectiveness of the application will be enhanced when more car parks are progressively fitted with Electronic Parking System. HDB aims to automate half of all HDB car parks by the first half of 2015.
