Hyundai Kona to get Amazon Music

Hyundai has announced that the Kona is set to get the ability to stream music.

The car will be able to stream tunes directly, thanks to the integration of Amazon Music. The feature means subscribers to the service will be enjoy their favourite songs while on the road, and in the U.K. at least, will be able to do so without any additional data charges thanks to the fact that the car comes with a three-year complimentary period of Bluelink.

The feature is also set to become available to existing Kona owners (of both the combustion-powered and hybrid models), thanks to a software update. Hyundai states that it also plans to roll out an update that will give users of its vehicles the ability to select specific songs or artists via voice recognition. It states that this feature will enable drivers to interact with the service safely and intuitively, making it even easier to curate the perfect driving playlist.
