Hyundai Nexo's 2025 JMS debut reaffirms hydrogen commitment

The all-new Hyundai Nexo fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) was unveiled at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show (JMS). Besides making its local debut, it also underscored Hyundai's commitment to hydrogen innovation and sustainable mobility.
The Nexo boasts significant advancements such as zero tailpipe emissions; an improved fuel cell system and battery performance that allows it to achieve over 826km of WLTP range from a five-minute charge; and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including highway driving assist, surround view monitoring, remote smart parking assist, and enhanced airbag safety systems.
The Nexo also introduces premium features like a Bang & Olufsen audio system, ventilated seating for first row, and eco-friendly interior materials.
In addition, at the event, Hyundai's "Hydrogen Journey Zone", designed to educate visitors on its hydrogen innovations, featured exhibits such as advanced hydrogen fuel cell stacks, Hyundai's HTWO hydrogen solutions brand, and interactive content that communicates the company's vision for a hydrogen-powered future.
