Hyundai provides a teaser of its next SUV concept for Automobility LA

Hyundai Motor has shared a teaser video and two images of its innovative plug-in hybrid SUV Concept for 2019 AutoMobility LA. The concept is the seventh in a series of Hyundai Design Centre concepts expressing increasing emotional value to Hyundai's evolving Sensuous Sportiness global design language.
Two sub-themes feature for this concept car, Parametric Fantasy and Transcendent Connectivity. Building on these sub-themes, the concept car is said to utilise concave and convex lines and their reflected ambient light to create an extreme sense of tension. The concept car will also feature a Parametric Air Shutter that deploys at high speeds to actively adjust both aerodynamics and design.
When stationary, the grille is closed and static. Once in motion, each individual cell of the grille design continues to move in a prescribed sequence, creating a truly dynamic forward demeanour. The Parametric Air Shutter also has the functional effect of controlling airflow to the powertrain, optimising aerodynamics and fuel efficiency.
