Revealed in May 2024 and launched in South Korea two months later, the Kia EV3 has finally made its way to European shores and will go on sale in the U.K. from 1 October 2024 to 16 December 2024.
With up to 604km of range on a single charge (771km if used purely in city driving) and a spacious interior, the EV3 - Kia's first electric compact SUV - sets a new benchmark in a high-demand market segment.
Leveraging the technologies of the EV6 and EV9, the EV3 is adaptable to any scenario and, following extensive testing in all driving conditions in Europe as well as range and charging, is confirmed as one of the most efficient EVs on the market.
The EV3's 400V fast charging technology allows it to go from 10% to 80% in 29 minutes for the 58.3kWh variant and 31 minutes for the 81.4kWh variant, making it one of the leading EVs for kilometres-per-minute charging in its segment.
It is also supported by Kia Charge, offering access to more than 800,000 charging points in 28 European countries.
Its spacious interior sports features like relaxation seats with mesh-like headrests, sliding tables, and intelligent mood lighting. On the dashboard is a triple-screen panoramic display combining touchscreen navigation, driver display, and climate control.
The EV3 will also feature a limited-edition trunk liner made from recycled materials as part of a seven-year partnership with The Ocean Cleanup
Making its debut in the EV3 is Kia's In-Car Payment, in collaboration with Parkopedia, helping drivers locate parking and pay for it, all through the vehicle's navigation screen.
Kia has also said that it plans to introduce an all-wheel drive variant to expand the range of choice for its customers.
