Lexus reveals details of 2010 LS600hL Hybrid

The Lexus LS luxury sedan was recently facelifted, and Lexus has now revealed details about its flagship LS600hL model. For 2010, the Lexus LS gets a revised exterior with a new look grille and front bumper, while the rear lights have received a new blue tint.

The LS600hL is powered by a 5.0-litre V8 combined with two electric motors and a large battery pack that forms part of the Lexus Hybrid Synergy Drive system. Total power output of the LS600hL hybrid is 438bhp and the luxury limo is able to go from 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds.

Inside, the long-wheelbase LS is packed with the usually luxury features, such as an automatic sliding driver’s seat that allows for easier access, as well as memory function for the seats. There is also a new LCD instrument cluster, with a new Lexus Navigation system as standard which has an improved voice recognition function. Bluetooth and USB/iPod connectivity are also among the technological features in the cabin.
