Lunaz unveils converted Silver Cloud II

Lunaz, the firm that converted a Jaguar XK140 to all-electric power for son and daughter-in-law of Football Star David Beckham, has presented its latest conversion project, a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II.

The car is said to have belonged to Oscar-winning Actress Sophia Loren, and was commissioned by The Largo hotel, located in Porto, Portugal.

This all-electric Silver Cloud II is said to have every surface modernised and upgraded. The paint is now a bespoke two-tone finish, with the upper portion of the car in Shale, while the lower section in a Rich Gold.

In the cabin, the car gets Sage leather alongside burr walnut wood detailing, and carpets which are woven from material derived from recycled fishing nets.

The car also sees a host of upgrades here including the addition of heated seats, a specially engineered Android and Apple CarPlay-compatible audio system, and USB/USB-C charging points. The driver will also now benefit from the addition of parking cameras linked to a full colour, 6.0-inch display screen in the dashboard, as well as added features including cruise control and an electronic parking brake.

As with every one of Lunaz's projects, this Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II has had its petrol engine replaced with the firm's proprietary electric drivetrain and battery, a process conducted at its purpose-built production and research facility at Silverstone, U.K.

Alongside the reveal of this Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, Lunaz has also announced a new Lunaz Hotel Programme, which it states has already seen hotel operators around the world commissioning it to elevate their classic models to be used for the transportation of hotel guests.

Alongside the option to apply their own signature branding, colourways and specific textiles into the converted vehicles, the programme is also offering training for the hotel's own chauffeurs. This training programme is conducted by Lunaz' team of chauffeurs, who comprise of former motorsport professionals, qualified Security Protection Drivers and Police Driving Curriculum Instructors.
