Mercedes-Benz CLA titled "Best Performer" in Euro NCAP 2025

The all-new electric Mercedes-Benz CLA has achieved the top rating of five stars in the current Euro NCAP tests and, thanks to outstanding individual results, has taken the top spot of all models of all brands tested by the safety institute in 2025. 

In all four safety disciplines considered, the electric Mercedes‑Benz CLA showed up with top values in occupant protection for adults and children, protection of vulnerable road users, and safety assistants.

This means that the electric CLA not only led the "Small Family Cars" category but also took the top position across all classes in 2025. It also follows in the footsteps of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which Euro NCAP named "Best Performer" last year.

The CLA's new standard safety assistance systems can prevent many accidents. Should an accident nevertheless occur, the crumple zones, the rigid passenger compartment and the restraint systems are specifically designed in such a way that the probability of being seriously injured is as low as possible.
