MG introduces the all-new MG4 EV Urban

Set to succeed the current generation MG4 EV, the all-new MG4 EV Urban has been unveiled, bringing with it three new variants: Comfort Standard Range, Comfort Long Range, and Premium Long Range.

Passenger comfort is a standout feature of the MG4 EV Urban. There is generous head room for all occupants (front and rear) with 997mm at the front and 957mm at the rear. Available leg and knee room for second row passengers is particularly generous, with 984mm leg room and 107mm knee room. Additionally, a rear aisle width of up to 315mm provides rear occupants with plenty of space.

Space is a big feature of the model, with 30 storage spaces offered throughout the cabin. It also offers 479 litres of boot space, plus a further 98 litres in a recessed area below the boot floor. And with the rear seats folded down, this brings the amount of space up to 1,364 litres.

As for technological features, the MG4 EV Urban features a dual-screen layout with an elegant 12.8-inch HD touchscreen and 7.0-inch HD Driver Display. MG's smartphone connectivity solution - iSMART - is also standard. Wireless connectivity for Apple Car Play and Android Auto is standard on all models and trim levels. Wireless charging and Online Apps (Tik Tok, YouTube, Spotify, and Amazon Music) are offered on the Premium Long Range.

New battery choices have been selected for the MG4 EV Urban including a 43kWh Standard Range (Comfort only) and a 54kWh Long Range battery (Comfort and Premium). The Long Range battery, combined with a thermal management system and lightweight body structure, delivers up to 415km of electric driving range. And with DC charging, the 43kWh battery can achieve a 10-80% charge in just 28 minutes, with the larger 54kWh battery taking 30 minutes.

The MG4 EV Urban offers a different exterior appearance to the MG4 EV. This sees slim LED headlights with the turn signal and daytime running lights integrated into the overall design. The signature split at the bottom of the dark grille offers a sporting look, with the technology-led appearance continues at the rear with a full-width light bar, complemented by arrow designs for the LED rear lights.

Six colours have been selected for the MG4 EV Urban: Arctic White, Camden Grey, Cosmic Silver, Dynamic Red, Holborn Blue, and the newly introduced Stone Green.
