Morgan unveils first images of new flagship model

Morgan has unveiled the first teaser images of its new six-cylinder flagship model.
The firm states that the model is set to make its official reveal in the first half of 2025. Yet-to-be-named, the model will follow from the Plus Six by continuing to make use of a BMW six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
Morgan does, however, add that the new model will be built atop a new CXV platform - an evolution of the CX-generation platform that underpins the outgoing Plus Six. The new platform is also said to encompass a range of new technical features and engineering enhancements designed to deliver to greater dynamic performance and driving enjoyment. Lovely.
The teaser images showcase a camouflaged prototype that Morgan states does now show the final design of the production vehicle, although we think enough can be gleamed here to safely state that the new model will stay recognisable as a Morgan. The firm does add that we can expect a more contemporary aesthetic from this new flagship - a move that we have witnessed in the past updates to the Plus Six.
Look at the rear and you might even spot a hint of the stunning Midsummer concept car in the way the tail of the prototype tapers. Morgan states that it will reveal more of this new flagship model in due time. We cannot wait.
