MG has launched the new HS here at the 2025 Singapore Motor Show.
The car continues to be offered here powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine, but output from this unit now stands at a total of 168bhp, while peak torque developed here is now 275Nm. These figures stood at 160bhp and 250Nm for the preceding model.
But there's more dramatic changes to the car on the outside.
Up front, the MG HS now comes with a bolder grille than before and gets new slimmer LED head lights. The car's taillights are also now connected to each other, and finish at either end with an X-shaped motif.
This new HS is also now longer and wider than before, with total length now standing at 4,630mm and total width at 1,890. This new body has translated into increased cargo capacity, which now stands at 507 litres - a 44-litre increase over the preceding model - on top of increased passenger space for occupants.
Speaking of which, those seated within the new MG HS can now make use of a wireless smartphone inductive charger and enjoy features including a panoramic sunroof and an eight-speaker audio system.
The MG HS also now makes use of twin 12.3-inch displays in its cabin and pairs a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat with a four-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat.
The SUV is offered here with driver assistance features including Blind Spot Detection and Rear Cross Traffic Alert as well as a 360-degree view camera and is available here in a total of five different exterior colours including White Pearl, Black Pearl, Hampstead Grey, Dynamic Red, and Sterling Silver.
