The Land Glider uses a motorcycle-inspired Tandem architecture, and its tyres can lean up to 17 degrees while cornering, using an advanced ride control system that uses sensors for "vehicle speed, steering angle and yaw rate to instantly calculate the level of lean required to negotiate a corner." As a result, Nissan says that the Land Glider can "™turn sharply at nearly any speed."
The Land Glider is powered by two electric motors that are connected to lithium-ion batteries mounted underneath the floor. Another breakthrough is that the Land Glider can be recharged wirelessly with a non-contact charging system, at any wireless charging station.
