Nissan Qashqai facelifted for 2010

Among the changes on the 2010 Nissan Qashqai include cosmetic updates like a revised bonnet, grille, fenders, bumper and headlights, which gives the Qashqai a slightly more aggressive look. There are also new LED taillights, 17-inch alloy wheels and two new body colours to choose from. The cosmetic changes are said to reduce the Qashqai's drag coefficient from 0.34 to 0.33.

Inside, Nissan says that there are better trim, higher quality materials, reduced noise, vibration, and harshness levels, plus a revised instrument panel cluster with a new LCD screen. The suspension has also been re-tuned to improve handling.

Nissan will also introduce a new eco-friendly version of the Qashqai called the ECO Qashqai, and is powered by a 1.5 litre turbo diesel engine supplied by Renault. Nissan says that this model will have a number of weight saving measures, aerodynamic tweaks, low rolling-resistance tires and longer gear ratios.
