Nissan Teana achieves highest score in Asean NCAP

The Nissan Teana set a new record with a perfect 16-point score for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and also became the first car in the region to score a five-star rating for Child Occupant Protection (COP), with 88 percent compliance.
The result was delivered by ASEAN NCAP Chairman Prof. Dr. Wong Shaw Voon at the Thailand International Motor Expo on 1st December 2014.
Prof. Wong said, "Congratulations to Nissan for this achievement. This new record means a lot to both the consumers and car manufacturers. The perfect score in AOP as well as being the first to reach five-star level in COP is a commendable result and has set another benchmark for a large family sedan."
