Opel unveils new 'Blitz' logo

Opel has updated its emblem as it readies for a new, all-electric future.
The new 'Blitz' logo gets its lightning bolt element redesigned so it is sharper, while a space has been added at its centre. Space has also been added to where this bolt touches the logo's supporting ring, allowing it to better stand out from the rest of the logo.
Opel states that the first production vehicle to sport the now logo will arrive in 2024, however, the new logo will also be extensively introduced via a "surprise" at the 2023 Munich Motor Show.
Opel currently has 15 electrified models in its portfolio, and plans to become a fully electric brand in Europe by 2028.
