Summer is just around the corner in Europe, and those who want to take part in a road trip or two now have a new vehicle to consider: The Opel Zafira-based Crosscamp.
Built by conversion specialists Crosscamp, the camper van comes in two versions, with 'Lite' designed more for short trips, while 'Full' comes equipped with a host of permanent fixtures to allow the vehicle to serve as a mobile home on longer trips.
The Crosscamp Urban Camper Full comes with a bench seat at the rear alongside two beds in a rising roof and a two-burner gas cooker fuelled by a 2.8 kg gas bottle
Both versions are based on the 4.95m-long version of the Opel Zafira, and offer sleeping space for up to four. Standard features for both trims of the campervan include 180-degree rotating front seats, heat and sound insulation glazing, dual-zone automatic climate control, as well as an easy-care wood-effect sandwich floor.
The vans also get additional piping stipes on their exterior, to secure solar sails or to support awnings.
Opt for the Crosscamp Urban Camper Full and your van comes with a kitchen block that sports an integrated sink and a two-burner gas cooker, alongside a storage cupboard. The van can also be had with a multifunctional table and offers seating for five.
The Crosscamp Urban Camper Lite, meanwhile, and you'll have enough seats to ferry seven, as well as a single gas cooker that folds out of the van. The campervan also comes with a removable storage container, and an optional 13-litre cool box for refreshments can be had as an added option.
A bench seat at the back offers sleeping space for two in either version of the campervan, supported by another two beds in the rising roof which offers three panoramic windows. For lighting at night, two gooseneck lights including a USB socket for charging smartphones and other devices are optionally available.
