Peugeot will offer a choice of two petrol and five diesel engines for the 208 when the car goes on sale across Europe early next year. The petrol engines include two three-cylinder units in 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre guises.
The exterior design of the 208 draws its styling inspiration from the French carmaker's most recent concept models such as the HX1, while the interior is distinguished by the multi-layered dashboard featuring a prominent centre console that plays host to a large infotainment screen.
