Peugeot has revealed an updated E-Traveller all-electric MPV.
Just like the recently revealed Peugeot e-Rifter, this new E-Traveller has had its front thoroughly redesigned. New here is the front grille, as well as the full LED head lights that sport the firm's iconic three-claw signature. The MPV also gets a new bumper, designed for optimised protection and aerodynamic efficiency.
Inside, the Peugeot E-Traveller gets a new dashboard that houses a 10-inch digital instrument cluster as well as a 10-inch central touchscreen. The central touchscreen houses Peugeot's i-Connect system, which promises highly responsive connectivity, supports wireless Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and can receive over-the-air software updates.
Peugeot states that this interior also offers more storage space than before, most notably on the upper section of the dashboard, as well as on the centre console. The MPV has also now gained a new wireless smartphone charger.
The Peugeot E-Traveller is offered either as a five or nine-seater, although a special VIP trim level is also available which has four independent seats facing each other alongside tri-zone air-conditioning, and a blacked-out glass roof.
The all-electric MPV comes powered by a 134bhp electric motor that produces 260Nm of torque. This electric motor is animated by either a 50kWh battery that gives the vehicle a 224km WLTP range, or a 75kWh battery which Peugeot estimates will give the vehicle a range of close to 350km.
This battery can be charged at a maximum rate of 100kW via a direct current charger, or at a rate of 11kW via an alternating current charger.
