Renault teases relaunch of Alpine brand in February

Renault will relaunch the Alpine brand with a new sports car on 16^th February 2016, the company has revealed through social media.

Renault Alpine has an illustrous history in rally car racing, with the rear-engined, rear-wheel drive Renault Alpine A110 one of the iconic rally cars back in the 60s and 70s. 

The new car will likely be the successor to the legendary A110. The date of the unveilling was released on the newly created official Alpine Twitter account, and the unveiling seems primed for a showing at the Geneva International Motor Show in March.
