Skoda has revealed the new Slavia fastback sedan for the Indian market.
With a total length of 4,541mm, a width of 1,752mm and wheelbase of 2,651mm, the Slavia, Skoda states, will offer enough space for five and comes with a boot capacity of 521 litres.

Upfront, there's the iconic Skoda hexagonal grille, used here with a chrome surround and vertical black slats. The rear meanwhile, continues to sport the 'Skoda' block lettering.
Top trim models will get LED head lights which utilise a hexagonal module for the low and high beam, while the daytime running lights are provided by a striking, sharply defined L-shaped LED strip. Customers will also get to choose between two variants for the rear lights.
In the cabin, the Skoda Slavia also follows the rest of the Skoda range with its free-standing infotainment touchscreen in its cabin. Here, the unit measures 10-inches across. A horizontal, colour-contrasting decorative strip across the dashboard accentuates the width of the spacious interior and connects the circular side air vents.

The Skoda Slavia is being offered in India with two petrol engine options. The first is a three-cylinder 1.0-litre engine generating 114bhp and 175Nm of torque, paired to a manual six-speed gearbox as standard, although a six-speed automatic transmission is available as an option.
A 1.5-litre unit, with 148bhp and 250Nm of torque, is also available, paired with either a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox or a six-speed manual.
