Skoda starts production of the updated Scala and Kamiq

Skoda has started production of the updated Scala and Kamiq at its plant in Mlada Boleslav in in Czech Republic.
Both compact cars are now available with Matrix LED head lights, while the front and rear bumpers, rims, and radiator grilles of both cars have been redesigned. Both cars also now display the Skoda logotype proudly on their fifth door. The cars also make use of more sustainable materials to build their upholstery and floor mats, and now feature a new Phone Box with wireless charging and cooling alongside fast-charging USB ports.
Both cars also offer a range of assistance features including Skoda's Front Assist with Pedestrian Monitor and Lane Assist.
Skoda states that over 260,000 units of the Scala and 576,000 examples of the Kamiq have rolled off its production lines since both models were introduced in 2019.
