Production of the Mercedes-Benz EQS all-electric saloon has started in Factory 56 at the company's Sindelfingen plant, boasting flexibility, efficiency, and extensive digitalisation.
The EQS will be integrated into ongoing series production, being the factory's first first all-electric model. The Mercedes-Benz S-Class saloon and Mercedes-Maybach S-Class are already being produced on-site.

For instance, photovoltaic systems mounted on the roof provide around 30% of the electricity the site needs each year.
The EQS is the first all-electric, full-sized luxury saloon from Mercedes-EQ. Fusing technology, design, functionality and connectivity, the EQS delights both drivers and passengers.
The vehicle will be available in EQS 450, EQS 450+, and EQS 580 4MATIC variants.
