Tan Chong Motor Sales launches the 3.5-litre Teana

Following the launch of the all new Nissan Teana, Tan Chong Motor Sales has unveiled the 3.5-litre variant of the car, which aims to push the bar of affordable luxury even higher.

The 3.5-litre Teana is equipped with a VQ35DE V6 engine that generates a maximum power of 249bhp and a maximum torque of 312Nm. It is complemented with the XTronic CVT, which features three driving modes for a more customised driving experience. Drivers can pick Drive for everyday driving, Ds for a sportier 'shift' feel, or go hands-on with the paddle shifters which puts precise shifting control at their fingertips.

During parking, the Around View Monitor will also come in handy. The system utilises simulated steering direction indicators and reverse positioning displayed on the monitor (Parking Guide System). The front/rear wide view monitor gives priority to safety with a 360-degree perspective view when negotiating visibly difficult intersections and reversing from parking lots.

With the Lane Departure Warning system, it will also give both a visual and audible alert when it detects that the car is straying from the lane. If another vehicle is detected in the car's blind spot area when the turn signal is on, the indicator located in the driver's and front passenger's doors as well as on the Advanced Drive-Assist Display flashes with a warning chime to alert the driver.

In addition to features unique to the Teana 3.5-litre, it is also equipped with innovative technology that can be found on the Teana 2.5-litre, such as zero-gravity inspired seats that reduces driving fatigue over long distances, a BOSE nine-speaker system and many more.
