If you’Re looking for a luxury sedan that is fun to drive, this is it. When you sit in it immediately you feel that it’S very driver-focused. The cabin wraps around you like a cocoon and the steering wheel falls perfectly into grip. The driving position is spot-on. Having driven the BMW 3-series, I can say that the Jaguar has the better steering feel and makes every drive engaging. The 8-speed torque converter automatic is better than dual-clutches in some of the competition at day-to-day driving as it is not jerky. The downside is that it may shift slower but not by much. The ZF really is the best of both worlds. The complicated suspension setup in the Jag also means that you don’T sacrifice comfort for the engaging drive previously mentioned. It manages to have the best setup in its class, striking the perfect balance of sportiness and comfort. Having owned the pre-face-lifted XE, it has given me no problems and the engine and gearbox has earned its reputation in reliability despite the Jaguar name raising some doubts. I know beauty is subjective but you can hardly deny that the XE is a gorgeous looking car. The face-lifted model now comes packed with loads of tech and a much improved infotainment system that it can be a car you buy with your head, as well as your heart. The only downside is the rear passenger room. If you have a family of tall people then you might have to reconsider. For those who are looking at a Merc C-class, BMW 3-series or Audi A4, please, give this car a test drive. If you enjoy the thrill of driving at all, i’M sure you will appreciate the engineering gone into the dynamics of this Jag. Best. Drivers’. Car.» Read More

The drive is excellent. Powerful and superb handling compared to my previous C class. At 200 PS and 320 Nm torque, the power deliver is smooth and super exciting on the highway. I have to let go my foot on the accelerator to keep to the speed limit or else I may hit the top speed easily 💪😁. Is a pleasure driving the XE. Very comfortable and posh seats. Engine sounds like V6.» Read More

Went to the Car Show held on the 10th to 13th JANUARY 2019. Was attracted by the affordable pricing as well as lifetime servicing. Hence, First booth visited was the Jaguar booth by Wearnes. First Impression, Wide but Compact Saloon Car. When I stepped in, I was wowed. Below are the Reasons....Would have booked a unit if I had not bought the Audi SQ5 less than a year ago along with the Honda Fit hybrid and Grace Hybrid that I registered 2 weeks ago. Was really tempted to book a unit but had to pull handbrake due to Financial reasons. Would probably book the unit during the next car show.» Read More

Attracted by the promo and went ahead with a test drive.» Read More
It was impressive, not only the looks, also the performance and handling.
Being diesel, there is a slight noise in the cabin during acceleration, but it is rather unnoticeable. A compromise if one wants to go for a diesel car.
Comparing to other diesels, the sound proofing is good.
Although it's over 70; Aluminum, it doesn't feel flimsy. Had the flimsy feeling on C class, not this car. Drive the car hard and observe, and opening/close the doors, you'll notice it.
A real good deal compared with its peers like Mercedes and BMW. -
Bought brand new XE from wearnes in 2017. Vehicle comes with 18inch rims from factory. Local AD replaced it with 17 inch rims (trying to earn pathetic extra one inch).» Read More
17 rims comes with way outdated tyres. Tyres manufactured in 2013. Uneven weas and tears spotted. Complained and they agreed to replace the tyres.
To check tyre manufacturing years must be included when u collect new car. Premium brand dealer behaving like sim lim seller nowadays.

Despite being the new kid on the block, the Jaguar XE has managed to charm its way to the top of the segment. The success of the XE is down to a mix of stunning looks with cues taken from the F-Type sports car and the feeling of high-end luxury thanks to its sumptuous leather-clad interior. These all add up to a package that's appealing to buyers from all ages and all walks of life.
This compact executive sedan sports slim yet sinister-looking headlamps that sit nicely at the front of the sleek bonnet and simple yet sharp creases on the bonnet that drag past the A-pillar all the way to the C-pillar, making it an unpretentious design that's easy on the eye.
Just like its simple and uncluttered sheet metal, the cockpit of the XE bears a modern yet sophisticated design that is classier that its rivals. It boasts attention to details such as the rotary gear selector, which rises out of the centre console the moment you fire up the car and a multi-media display that has an intuitive touchscreen interface.
Dominated by a 2.0-litre four-pot powerplant - the lump under the XE's bonnet dishes out 197bhp and 280Nm of twisting force to the rear wheels. Power is delivered in a linear yet persistent manner - a demeanour that most turbocharged cars fail to behave in.
With the its aluminium suspension, with double wishbones at the front and a beautifully engineered multi-link set-up at the rear, the XE handles superbly and enthusiastically through a series of bends - all while managing to remain calm and composed. Few compact executive sedans are as fun and dynamically sound as this.
