1 week after servicing car pickup was bad so I opened up the front bonnet to check and found that the whole engine practically the whole thing was stained with oil all over and I found out that one of the cap for the the tank was not close properly. Today the red indicator for the radiator came up when I was driving along the expressway. I had to stop the car and check but to my dismay the radiator tank was EMPTY! Strange right, it is just least then a month. How can it be empty? Just because I bought the voucher means no need to do a good job is it? Did you even do a proper servicing to the car??!!

Thank you for writing in regard of the incident that happen on you. I would like to apologies for the mishap that happen as we are the last point of contact for your car servicing.

We agree that the usual high standards of our products / services were not met in this instance.

As a result of our investigation, we found that you made a purchase of the $57 groupon deal that is included with a X-Rev engine flush and treatment + 21 point check + oil filter and 4L X-rev Engine Oil change. The misunderstanding was caused by the groupon package that stated it only responsible for the Engine Oil and Engine oil filter. And according to my mechanic, they have done a full 21 point check and list out all the issue, but somehow it wasn't addressed from your side.

As a result, you experience the radiator problem that you have mention.

As we know that we are the last point of contact that your car have been to for servicing. I can understand that it is easily to fault the mistake. The package that you have bought is the most basic promotion and somehow the issue is brought up from my side but it wasn't address from your side. We also hope that it doesn't bring you to any inconveniences.

As the management, We would like to offer you a 15% off for all repairs and servicing. I would also like to take this chance to educate our customer that how essential it is to take care of the car to it's optimum level. I hope to address your problem without any misunderstanding.

We assure you that this will not happen again.

Did a routine service at 1st auto using the cheap groupon deals. Overall experience is good. Quite impressed with the detail of the work done. My usual workshop is the no frills type, basically only change oil, at most wipe ur engine bay a bit, clamp battery test, thats it. So i was quite impressed here as I paid <$50 for servicing (including engine oil), with the groupon deal. Like the 1st time I encounter workshop which REALLY do the 20-25 point check. Some of the things i was impressed with in their basic service: 1. Took out my air box and checked one of the spark plugs condition 2. Vacuumed my cabin interior. 3. Checked my tyre pressure. 3. Did tyre rotation, front and back wheels exchange. Even did a bit of tyre shine on the wheels. 4. Cleaned engine bay and applied the shine on the black areas. 5. Checked my aircon filter. 6. Used original oil filter with the box for my japan make car. So shld be really original. The engine oil provided is from the Big barrel of oil with Mobil 1 sticker. not exactly sure what weight is the oil, but the last time i asked, was 5w40. Saw another unopened barrel is mobil 1 15W40, so i suspect could be 15W40. They are quite a big workshop, so charge GST, and have detailed report and invoicing, so overall would not be the cheapest you can find, but the way they work, could give some people confidence. Was quoted $28 to change air filter, but I brought my own, so mechanic put in for me with no charge. Note: I only did basic servicing, other services and charges havent tried.

I sent my car to check Aircond problem. Replaced 2 leaky pipes, charge-in gas and replace cabin filter within an hour. Mr Yap, sincere and chatty guy. Thank you for your fast repair job.

I sent my car to replace the engine mount and air-con yesterday. The price quoted are very reasonable (I had inquired several workshops before that). More importantly, the service is efficient (fast turnaround, and both the jobs were done in half a day) and friendly (Mr Yap is personable and very experienced, and so are his crew of mechanics). It was a very pleasant experience overall and I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

After hours of searching for shops with good reviews, I decided to send my 5-yr old Mitsubishi car to this shop for aircon repair. My aircon suddenly stopped working yesterday and their mechanic found out that my compressor is already spoilt. Generally, I was impressed with their quick turnaround time (<1hr) to rectify the problem and their friendly staffs. I also discovered that their pricing is cheaper compared to other shops that I went thru. I will definitely come back here for the next servicing and will recommend to other friends too.

Did a bit of DIY and removed the AC clutch plate and some brittle lining material dropping out. Brought it down for Mr.Yap to see whether can get replacement, and he confirmed nothing wrong. So fixed it back and all was well, $0 spent. Quite rare nowadays. Went back again to do an AC refresh package at a good price. Keep up the good work.

I visited Mr Yap today and found him to be genuine and sincere about wanting to fix my aircon issue and was not out just to make money. I had the aircon fixed and the amt is half of what offerd by other workshops. Before that, I have already visited at least 4 workshop who did not even bother to do a thorough check of what is wrong with my car aircon and just tell me straight that I have to change the aircon compressor and aircon coil and the amt comes to be more than 1K. Good service by Mr Yap and team.

My vehicle aircon seems not working and I went to 1st Auto for checking. This is my first time visiting this workshop and I was greeted by one of their staffs. Everyone seems friendly and after a short wait my vehicle is ready for collection. Roy, explained to me clearly on what is the problem and what they have done to ensure everything is good. Detailed explanation and explain to me on the technical issue using layman term. This boost my confidence in approaching them in future. Will bring my vehicle for servicing next time. For outlet experience, the waiting area is just right with the right temperature of air conditioning and supply of drinks. Thanks Roy and 1st Auto team.

Went there to fix the noise in the car and ended up replacing the engine mounting and suspension (which actually can still be used). Dont be deceived by the friendly service of Roy (or Yap). Please be aware that they will recommend you parts that are nice-to-have, in addition to the must-have. Nevertheless, I would recommend them to my friends; but please ask them to explain why the repair is needed and be firm.

send in my Estima 2.4x to change Engine mounting, and check terrible sound while idle from engine, Mr Yap team can immediate identify the cause and provide solution to my car, with reasonable price, work done in half a day time and problem is resolve and now i am very happy with my car ride, very much quite like new car. overall very happy with their service, fast, efficient yet quality, price is reasonable but they deserve for the price paid for the quality of service. thank you

Efficient, honest and reliable mechanic. Came to 1st Auto after a recommendation from a friend to get second opinion. Mr Yap managed to rectify my aircon problem fast and the prices is reasonable.. will be back again in the future.

Yap has a great team if mechanics! I'm a very involved owner. I need to know what they are trying to do to my car. Too many horror account to mention. Went in the ws at 3pm to get mine deuve shaft dust cover replaced and all get done together with securing my bumper. Hard to find such working ethic in Singapore nowadays. Very few mechanics will ever want to attempt unsrewing this rare beauty 407 coupe! If Yap n team can do my car, they can do any car!

I came here to change my stabilizer bushings and link. I had this car problem, making noises at the front. I went to some other workshop, they quoted that is the shock absorber need to be replace. I think twise and doesn't proceed to repair, because what i know is the absorber is still working very well. I told the guy to check, but he said is really the absorber. I told him i'll consider and drove away. Suddenly uncle yap the a/c experts came out of my mind, i believe he could help me rectify the problem. So i made a call and ask him to test drive. He said confidently is the stabilizer bushings. I somehow agree with him, i trust him and he make an order on the original parts. After repair, it really works. The noises subside. If i had any problem on my car i would probably visit his shop. Most recommended auto workshop. Price of repair are reasonable. I came here before about my a/c doesn't work. Other workshop said that the compressor need to be replaced and cost alot. I search on the internet, and i see alot of positive review on this shop so i made a move to there. Uncle yap explains everything, how it works and how it function. He told me just to replace the magnetic clutch and it cost lesser than replacing the whole compressor unit. I proceed to the repair and my a/c work as usual and it still work very well till now. This is the shop that can be trusted. Uncle yap's the best! he help us save money too!
