In my many years of driving, I have never believed in spending over a thousand dollar to upgrade car audio system. The only mod I did for my previous car was installing an active under seat subwoofer (Philips) at Autobacs for over $500 and replacing both front and rear speakers (Pioneer) by another installer at $400 plus. Went to autoimage to replace the ICE in my 11 years old little convertible daihatsu Copen. Did not expect much due to limited space to put in much hardware. Told Ted to put in a decent system within the limitations. He recommended the new Passione DSP with built-in amps and 2 ways speaker systems plus a pioneer HU. Being a regular customer of autoimage over the years, I have no reservation on the quality of their workmanship. What stunts me was the quality of the sound from the Passione system. A very simple set up that matches the perfomance of a much bigger system. Bass from the 6.5 inch is so rich and clarity from the tweeter is just amazing. Even with the top down, it sounds great on the road. A "chilli padi" system that Produce alot of punch.
