To start of, 1 given is way too generous for this company for the service their staff provided! I chose this company based on the rave reviews on their company. Now I know it was a deadly mistake The initial staff who served me, Lesley, was friendly and helpful with the arrangement to secure my car for my Malaysia trip. About a week after that, I was contacted by another staff by name of Jammuel and I was a bit puzzled but thought maybe Lesley could have been too busy. So on collection day, this guy Jammuel kept messaging me asking what time I am coming down even though I have told him the specific timing! This was ok. During collection, everything was rush ( I will recommend anyone who dare rent from them to really take your time on this especially for PHV Drivers!) It was like a russian roulette for me accepting the handing over of the car and I truly regretted it. Upon starting of car, it was vibrating a lot and I thought well, this car is already 400k+ mileage so I can't expect it to be pristine like a new car. Who knows this will be a nightmare onwards. During my drive to Muar, the car suddenly was not able to rev when hit 70km/hr! And this was at North-South highway where cars are travelling at high speed! I have to park the car at the shoulder. Contacting this guy, Jammuel was useless! He asked me to find my own workshop at a remote location and get a quote on the repair!!! Hello! I am your customer and not your lacky Dude! Where did the tow service you mentioned during the handover?! I finally gave up sensing this guy was just not helpful at all. Managed to get the car barely drivable in manual mode… What a joke! Driving manual mode in a auto car for the whole Malaysia trip! Fast forward to car return day. When met up with Jammuel. No questions asked from him of my incident in Malaysia. So I feedback to him seriously saying that this car really cannot make it. He asked me "Hey, you at least have to tell me what is wrong so I can feedback to mechanic." I was stunned. Aren't you, the car rental company of this car supposed to make sure that this car should be in good, safe drivable condition??? And I already, called you when stranded in Malaysia and not even a single question of concern was being raised by him! Nevermind, I still went throught the handover with him and when he told me that my deposit will only be 2-3 days later (not stated in agreement nor verbally during collection). I merely asked him why is this so? He started became aggressive and say it is company policy. I was completely shocked. First, you gave me a undrivable car and now you shout at me. Lastly, when I asked about the handover slip, if the refund was stated as fully refunded, he shouted even louder again saying "WHAT REFUND?!" I asked him, why you have to shout so loud. He is really those pathetic who thinks that you will win when shout the loudest I am not sure if this is how Fresh Cars Pte Ltd trained all their staff to be like that but for those brave ones who wished to rent from them, I will say avoid this company at all cost and if you still want really want to go ahead renting with them, then please avoid being served by this guy, Jammuel (see their company website. The shortest guy wearing spectacles.) Jammuel, if you are looking at this, you will know this is coming and this is just one of many more reviews coming. The passengers seating in your company's car will be also have their rights to send their respective reviews too. Please stay humble and never treat your customers like crap.
