On7 Nov, is my first time visited KGC at Sin Ming W/S. My aim is to change OEM brake pad and skimming the disc roto of my front wheel. After reading the reviews I decided to let KGC to do the job. As they have the skimming tools, not like some w/s have to send to 3rd party, all under one roof. DJ honesty is the trust that I really appreciated. Bcos when I send in my car for the work, he told me that he has over quoted me on the original Brake Pad. So now I have the quoted price with original brake pad, instead of OEM, & Skimming.
The job was well done within 6 hrs. Not forgetting I also did a paint touch up on my bumper. But I have to wait 45 mins to let them wash & Internal vacuuming. Should have done before I pick up my car. However this is minor.
I would like to thanks DJ for his perfectionism. And will be back for normal servicing.

Just collected my ride from the workshop today. My experience with KGC is above expectations. DJ called me to understand my usage for the car plus working within my budget to get the car again in good working conditions.

I'm impressed with their professionalism and dedication to provide quality service to my car which is left with 9 more months before scrap... Thanks DJ

I was rear-ended and originally went to my insurance company's authorised workshop to get my rear bumper fixed. However, their service left a lot to be desired, kept me waiting for 3 weeks for reply from the other party's insurance company and I have to chase them for updates and the final straw was they wanted me to postpone the repair till after CNY! I posted my situation to KGC in this forum and the reply was quite prompt and I then spoke with DJ. Brought my car down and DJ was patient in explaining the claim process with me, assuring me of my doubts. He gave me a timeline of when my car can be fixed and kept to it. He allayed my fears about whether the new bumper is really new by sending me a pic of the car with the new unpainted bumper installed and finally, throw in a free grooming for me! And it was done so well that it significantly covered my side mirrors' scratches! Really top notch service from DJ! Thank you and do keep up your good work!

This is the 3rd time I visited KGC for their service for accident claim and repairs. No prizes for guessing why I have chosen to return whenever I had an accident (major or minor).

DJ (the manager), as always, was very helpful and patient. And like most other customers will agree, he is no hard-selling fellow. Very honest and accommodating. You can let him know what you need and he will try his best to do it for you. All his assistants and technicians are well-versed in their work. This time, I had my KIA Cerato Forte front bumper changed and fixed up according to my preference after a minor collision. All claims procedures, rental car, etc were hassle-free.

Happened to learn that they are also do car servicing. Will consider doing my next servicing there. Looking at the way they work. I feel relief and safe that my car will be in good hands.

Thanks also to Melvino and his colleague (cannot remember his name) for attending to some additional requests.

Have a minor brush with another car causing my A4 a little dent on the LH fender and front bumper and some paint chipped off. Found this workshop through website myself and was amazed by the efficiency and excellent service they deliver. I send my car in the morning and picked it up in the afternoon. All beautifully done just like brand new.

Went to this workshop to touch up my bumper paint. I hit a wall during parking, no dent, but the paint chipped. They gave me reasonable price to repaint the bumper partially. Morning come evening done. The result is quite awesome. I would thought that it's a new bumper if I don't know it better.

Front bumper badly scratched. Rear bumper badly dented and scratched. They helped me save cost by spray painting only half of front bumper and I cannot even see the line between the 2 halves. Rear bumper is also well done, looking like new. They also polished the exterior and thoroughly cleaned the interior.

Changed Colour of my rim and roof by spray paint. Guys did a good job. Also they solved few small issues with my car free of charge which is highly appreciated. They know what they do. Highly recommended.

I was involved in an accident where another car rear ended me. I had sought 2 different quotes for the repair (1 with AD and the other with a reputed body shop in MCF). The other car recommended KGC as he was a friend of DJ's.
I was a bit hesitant as most reviews on KGC was done by "newbies". However, I had little choice as KGC's quote was the lowest and had promised to fixed my bodykit!
I met Han as DJ was away. Han reassured me that all was fine and they could do a good job.
I left my car with them though they told me they needed 7 working days to fix my car ... they returned it within a remarkable 5 working days!

They car was well fixed and I am fairly pleased with the results though I wished I was never involved in the accident as it caused a lot of inconveniences!

I finally met DJ on day of car collection and he was a very pleasant down to earth and was keen to emphasise that they were a one-stop shop.

I will be considering returning once my warranty with AD finishes.

Highly recommended for bodyshop work. I did not use their workshop for mechanical repairs.

I know a few workshops but this is the only workshop I like to visit.
Last year I sent my 5.5 years old Honda Stream to re-spray the whole car. The boss quoted me a very reasonable price. Workmanship was good. Looks like a brand new car. DJ the boss even spent time explained to me how to take care of the new paint work. The boss is young and humble and his service is good.

Went down to shop to ask for re-spray of front bumper and changing of front lip as already cracked for the front lip.
However, Lee recommended that front lip do not have to change and that he can patch up and re-spray together with the bumper all in a good price.

Collected the car the following day and was impressed with the outcome. A job well done!.

Wanted to look for a workshop to do some paint respray touch up for my new car's bumper after I tried to seal up a deep scratch DIY but got the overcoat and paint damage due to over-sanding and ended up with a big patch of paint gone. Don't know where to start for a newbie car owner like me. So I went to the forum and look around and tried to contact a few of them via email and the enquiry tool on sgcarmart. The boss of KGC, Mr Koh DJ, replied shortly via email and we went on to Whatsapp to discuss my needs for the respray. With just the reviews that other customers made on KGC, over whatsapps, DJ was quick enough to share with me the estimate cost and options, understanding my needs and offering options to reduce the repair cost. Made an appointment with DJ and drove down to the workshop. Had a casual discussion with DJ and feeling his humbleness and what other reviewers mentioned about his friendliness, I took up the repair with them. Within the same day, I got my car back and the respray was flawless to me. My worry on different color tones, risking making respray on a new car for something small was gone when I inspected the outcome. They even offered to touch up one of my door's paint for free. Although it is just a dot, but it is these small little gestures that makes the overall services memorable. From end to end, the customer experience I had with them was great. No hard sell, no arrogance.

I had a cracked wing mirror after my family member ran it into the wall during parking. Searched around the forum and called numerous workshops. DJ is the one who helped me sourced for the parts and quoted me the price within the day. Drove down to his workshop for actual assessment and he advised what's essential to replace and what's cosmetic and up to my discretion. Left my car in the morning and it is ready after lunch. The wing mirror is nicely repaired with no hidden charges. DJ is friendly and enjoyable to speak to. Will go back to him for other stuffs like maintenance and expendable items.

I just have my car done by this workshop. I like the boss' humble and friendly attitude. Got a few deep scratches on my car. Called up 6 workshops in the east to check on the rates for this kinda repair, 3 gave me a rough quote of crazy prices, the rest simply brush me off and said I need to drive the car over to give me a quote. At last, I found this workshop in the video, the boss give me a very reasonable rough quote, and when he had seen my car, charge me an even lower quote. Their service was prompt and I was able to collect the car within a day. Even though I stayed in the east, but this workshop(at sin ming) appeals to me more than other workshops in the east. The overall feeling that I got is, other workshops (such as green star and goldhill) just want to earn 1 time big money from you, whereas Koh Guan Chua wants to earn customer satisfaction. I'm totally satisfied with their service and will recommend to my friends.
