Have been a long time customer until moved office and this place became a little too far to go to. Every time i pass by to visit and last time when i always send company van over for servicing, it has always been an excellent experience.

Shawn always update me what is going on and advice me according to the situation of the vehicles i send there and let me decide if i wish to rectify them or not if there were issues. No hard selling or pushing me to do sometime i face at some other places. Boundaries were respected when i share my thought. Workmanship is good and all thought this place is not the cheapest or sometimes might slightly on the high side, quality products we used which i think is justifiable. Overall, i would recommend anyone to this place and Shawn has always been very friendly and sharing things with me even thou nowaday i am doing my servicing somewhere closer to my office.

I recently had an incredible experience with Kaizen Motors after my car was rear-ended by a motorcycle, leaving a noticeable dent on the back panel.

From the moment I arrived, I was impressed. The boss, Shawn, immediately assessed the damage and took the time to walk me through the entire repair process. His approach was completely transparent—he explained exactly what he would do to fix the visible dent and even provided professional advice on possible underlying damage that might not have been immediately obvious from a light external bump. His expertise and honesty were truly appreciated, leaving me with total confidence in his work.

The actual repair was also fast. Just two days later, I collected my car. The result was genuinely surprising and pleasing; The rear of the car looks absolutely brand new, as if the accident never happened.

Beyond the outstanding quality of work, Shawn himself is a friendly, humble, and honest person. There were no hidden costs whatsoever, and he even went the extra mile to expedite the repair process so I could have my car back in time for the weekend.

If you are looking for top-notch repair quality, professionalism, and genuine customer service, I highly recommend Kaizen Motors and Shawn.

Too much too unreasonable pricing.
Total servicing comes to $233.

A. Servicing - $128
B. Oil drain plug washer $10
C. Air filter $33
D. Air con filter $32
E. Labor on just checking the condition of the spark plug $40

Based on trust i assume what Shawn shared is correct the the filter is in bad condition. After change only to realized the filter is still in good condition, where I had check with few other drivers. I still have the photo.

The spark plug, he insisted not too open to check as he felt based on experience it is fine. But his colleague open to change to new spark plug. Then I was being charged $40 just to take out 2 spark plug for me to check the condition. I managed to tell his colleague that i do not need to change if condition is good. If I am not there, likely I do be charge additional $100 for the spark plug.

Kaizen need to learn to show transparency in the pricing despite myself asking few times before the change.

Extremely terrible experience. This is my first and last time going there. I strongly anyone who go there to do their due diligence.

I seriously wonder how they get all the 5 🌟!

Hi Martin,

First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience you encountered during your recent visit. I understand your concerns, and I’ve since spoken with both Shawn and Raf to better understand the situation.

From what I gathered, there seems to have been a misunderstanding. According to Shawn, while he was scanning your car’s computer, he showed you the condition of the filters, informed you of the price, and you agreed to proceed with the replacement—so he went ahead and ordered them. He also mentioned that there were no faults found with the spark plugs or O2 sensor and advised that they be changed only when the mileage indicates it's time. This was consistent with what he had advised earlier through your text conversation, where he said that if the spark plugs weren’t causing any vibration, they should still be fine. However, you still requested to have them checked, correct?

Following that, Raf mentioned that—based on your request—he removed all four spark plugs to show you their condition. You decided not to replace them, so they were reinstalled. There is a labor charge for this service, which we have already reduced to $30 for you.

I wasn’t present during your conversation with Shawn in the workshop, but during the billing discussion in the office, I clearly heard Shawn explain that no faults were found with the spark plugs during the scan and that replacement was unnecessary—ultimately helping you avoid that additional cost.

I kindly ask that we also be fair to the team on the ground, as they followed proper procedure and acted based on your instructions.

Once again, I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. I hope everything runs smoothly for you moving forward, and we remain committed to providing better service in the future

Installed OBU with Kaizen. Did a solid job, workmanship is excellent, windscreen is clean and no peeling of windscreen film of any sorts. Also patched my tyre for me, collected within the day. Looks like a solid trustable place. - Ace Ficor

WhatsApped Kaizen to book an OBU installation appointment and dropped off my car at 9:30 AM. They updated me via WhatsApp at 11:30 AM that the car was ready for collection. When I arrived, the friendly staff clearly explained how to use the OBU and reminded me of key things to take note of. A complimentary NETS Motoring Card was also provided. We sent a second hand car that we intended to purchase to Kaizen Motors for second opinion. Shawn assisted on the evaluation. He is very thorough in his inspection and evaluation, direct and honest and does not mince his words. He also explained car terminology in layman term for easy understanding. I've sent in 2 cars for PPI and both cars were checked by Shawn. Professionally explained to both vendor and myself about the repair of the car needed and back with evidences.
