Make/Model: AUDI/S4 3.0 TFSI QU S- TRONIC (SUNROOF) 2010 Model Fault Code: P2019 Went to my general servicing workshop 7 times and couldn't get this fault code fix. Found out about TEC Auto and went down. With their profession, they immediately rectify the issue. Repair cost was breakdown and explained. They even actively update the status when dismantling. Long story short, Ryan and team were very active and friendly. They are willing to share knowledge. I learn a lot from this visit and definitely coming back in future. Brought my car in to fix oil leaks at the flywheel due to wear and tear. After repairs were done, my car ended up having an abnormally high pitched cranking sound when trying to start the car. This workshop diagnosed that my starter is faulty. Replaced with a brand new starter with their labour but the same cranking issue came back. Ryan called to tell me that likely a brand new starter is causing the issue. In the end i brought my car elsewhere to identify the root cause, and they told me that a rubber seal was dislodged somewhere between the starter and the flywheel, and the new starter is totally fine. Removed the stuck seal and the car is back to working condition. Sad to say that i paid costs of towing the car, a new starter that didnt have an issue to begin with, labour costs to fix what wasn't spoilt in the first place, but due to their workmanship error for leaving the seal dislodged, and almost bought another brand new starter due to the wrong diagnosis of this workshop. Edit: replying to the response from TAS, this incident happened in Apr 2023. No confusion with any workshop involved. Just want to warn everyone that TAS workmanship may not be as good as they seem to be. - Charlotte Lim
