Ecoboosted: 2014 Ford Fusion gets a new three-cylinder EcoBoost engine

Ford is reportedly going to offer a new 1.5-litre three-cyilnder EcoBoost engine on the 2014 Ford Fusion. With the new engine, it is expeced to develop approximately 177bhp and 240Nm of torque.
The automaker is also reportedly in plans for a cheaper Fusion Hybrid S. It is expected to slot below the SE and Titanium variants.
Last but not least, the 2014 Fusion is expected to gain a revised colour palette, inflatable rear seat belts and optional Red Brick leather. The Titanium variant is also expected to receive a heated steering wheel and ventilated front seats.
