Wow!! My aircon suddenly not cold.When to workshop,and they said compressor spoil need to change so i change the compressor but still not cold.Go to carosell n going a person claiming that just need to clean the cooling coil using some aircon cleaner but still not cold.Google aircon service n found L& Kim and when down to the workshop.Ah Chong the mechanic check,n just took out the heater control n air cold again. just charge me $20 only.Tks Ah Chong .Will sure recoment this aircon workshop.

Went to two workshops in Ang Mo Kio and Tampines for diagnosis of my non-functioning aircon. Both of the workshops insisted my compressor needed to be replaced after checking for less than 5 minutes. One of them quoted $535 and the other $500. Went to L & Kim at Ubi and was told what needed to be changed was not the whole compressor but just the magnetic clutch. Was quoted $250 for the job which was completed in less than two hours. My aircon is now running fine. The boss Mr Kim was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

The AD workshop needs 3 days to change the cooling coil, they changed a new air con cooling coil for me within half a day. They know what they are doing. The rate was reasonable as well.

Locating the place was a little challenging as my GPS is getting cranky.
Parking is difficult as well.

Ah Khim attended to me, I believe he is the boss or the manager of the shop. My aircon was not working well. He did a check and found out to be the problem of my compressor, he gave me the recommendation of changing the entire compressor or the affordable alternative of changing the valve inside the compressor which is about less than half the price of changing to a new one.

He say of cos changing a new one would be the ideal solution and this cheaper alternative is good enough to keep your aircon running for the next 1 to 2 years without any problem. I took the latter and went for my lunch while he attend to my car. He took 30 mins to settle the problem and my aircon is running well now.

Khim mentioned that none of his customers who had the valve changed returned. Hopefully I won't be the first. LOL!

Chose this shop as only shop with feedback from a "High-geared" User.

Called them before i went down. Reached there, popped the boot and found out one of the aircon pipes had burst and one gasket also gave way.

Replaced the rubber pipe only (used back my stock metal ends) and then changed the a/c filter and also topped up the a/c gas.

All over in about 30 mins.

Btw, they do not have cashless payment.

Great service and nice people there. The boss is a very patient and knowledgeable person. Knows what he is doing and troubleshoot whichever issues for my air con compressor. Unlike some other companies which insisted me on changing the whole compressor without any further troubleshooting. He even take the effort to explained to me on the cause of the problem. I strongly recommend this workshop for auto air con needs and repairs. They will definitely be my first choice for auto air con needs in future.
