Chevrolet marks 60 years of the Corvette blowing out 60 candles

On the 60th year of the Corvette - a significant milestone for Chevrolet, the 2013 Corvette 427 Convertible blows out 60 candles in Zach Snyder style, to mark its anniversary and joyous occasion. It may not have registered as a promotional stunt or high profile gimmick, yet the celebratory blowing of 60 candles was done in style and with purpose.

The 427 Convertible is the fastest drop top model in Corvette's history. Using the 7.0-liter LS7 engine from the Corvette Z06, it produces 505hp and 637Nm of torque via an almost endangered six-speed manual transmission. When thinking of a better candidate to celebrate the joyous occasion, none fits the bill better.
