COE prices for Cat B and Open Category falls for last tender in March

Category B COEs, for cars of engine capacities above 1600cc, saw the biggest drop, falling by $4892 to end the bidding exercise at $57,002. This is a 7.9% decrease over the previous COE tender.

Category E Open COEs also saw prices fall, ending the exercise at $59,073, a decrease of $2937 from the previous tender. This represents a 4.7% drop from the earlier March bidding.

Category A COEs, for cars below 1600cc in capacity and taxis, saw a small rise however, ending the bidding at $43,813, a $1213 increase from the previous exercise. This is a 2.8% increase from the previous tender.
