Hyundai has released pictures of the new i30 wagon ahead of its Geneva Motor Show debut. The new car joins the earlier offerings from the Korean carmaker to provide a wider and stronger overall appeal.
Designed and engineered at the firm’s R&D centre in Russelsheim, Germany, the car sports similar design language, which has been well received as proven by its stable-mates which has hit the market.
Based on the i30 five-door hatch, the i40 wagon shares its drivetrain and underpinnings with its five-door hatch cousin. Physically though, it underwent a length extension of 185mm to 4485mm in total. Boot space is now increased to a class-leading 528 litres, 150 more than what you get in the hatch.
The i30 wagon will be unveiled at the March’s Geneva Motor Show.
