LEVC has revealed new images of its L380 all-electric vehicle, nearly three months after the first L380 prototype was first made in Yiwu, China.
The firm has accompanied these images with the revelation that the interior of the vehicle has been inspired by the world of luxury airline travel. The car will offer seating for up to eight, and will come with flexible first class-style chairs which are clad in soft, delicate semi-aniline leather. These seats can also be flipped down for sleeping, while the rest of the interior will make use of Alcantara fabrics, bright chrome, and crystals.
The LEVC L380 will offer up to eight flexible first class-style chairs alongside a panoramic glass roof
The LEVC L380 will also feature an organic floating dashboard, and a panoramic glass roof, which is said to cover a total area of 2.18m2. This roof will feature an intelligent dimming technology, allowing to let in natural light or shield occupants from the sun. Also set to feature in the electric MPV are air vents shaped after the Chinese Ruyi (a ceremonial scepter), as well as cabin lighting that can deliver a meteor shower effect. The cabin is also said to integrate London icons such as Tower Bridge and Big Ben.
The LEVC L380 is based on the firm's new Space Oriented Architecture all-electric platform, which is said to offer unprecedented levels of space and luxury for families and business users.
