Lexus unveils the RC F Fuji Speedway Edition

Lexus has revealed the 2022 RC F alongside the RC F Fuji Speedway Edition.

The high-performance RC F races into the 2022 model year with its GT3-inspired looks and naturally aspirated 5.0-litre V8 producing 412bhp.

Redesigned 19-inch wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tyres provide superior surefootedness, for the 2022 car. Lexus is also offering a optional Carbon Package for the 2022 RC F, which adds a carbon fibre roof, rear bumper, lip and air dam front spoiler, fin rocker, door lower molding and retractable wing rear spoiler.

In the cabin, this package will also add carbon fibre interior trim pieces, as well as leather-trimmed heated and ventilated front seats.

Also new is the Fuji Speedway Edition RC F, which homage to the track where Lexus F began. Limited to just 50 units, the special edition car gets Brembo carbon ceramic brakes, a titanium exhaust and extensive use of carbon fibre to improve aerodynamics and reduce weight.

The weight reductions help to bring the car's zero to 96km/h sprint time to just 3.96 seconds, as opposed to 4.2 seconds in the regular Lexus RC F. The 2022 RC F Fuji Speedway Edition will only be available in an exclusive Electric Surge paint. A first for Lexus, the unique blue paint possesses a semi-matte finish.

Black and blue Alcantara-trimmed seats combine with alcantara accents on the shift knob and steering wheel in the cabin. Blue carbon fibre ornamentation also adorns the cabin for the ultimate distinction. F logo scuff plates and serialised badging add a finishing touch to the limited edition RC F.
