VICOM has officially inaugurated its new Integrated Hub at 2E Jalan Papan in Jurong. The new $60 million, five-storey, purpose-built facility marks a significant milestone in the brand’s long-term strategy by consolidating vehicle inspection and non-vehicle testing services under one roof.
With new, technologically advanced equipment and a more spacious, efficient layout, VICOM, through its subsidiary JIC Inspection Pte Ltd, are elevating its inspection processes to better manage increased traffic and improve overall service efficiency. The new facility also provides SETSCO, VICOM's non-vehicle testing business, with significantly expanded space to develop and implement innovative and advanced testing capabilities.
In line with VICOM's commitment to environmental stewardship, the new Hub incorporates sustainable features like high energy efficiency with the installation of solar panels, good water efficiency, adequate environmental protection, and good indoor environmental quality. The setting up of high-capacity EV chargers within its premises further reinforces its role as an enabler of sustainability in facilitating the electrification of vehicles.
The launch of the Integrated Hub is a key component of VICOM's broader commitment to agility and future-readiness. The facility is designed to adapt to the evolving automotive landscape and the increasing complexity of industrial testing requirements. The facility will commence operations progressively from 16 February 2026, with full operations expected in the second half of 2026.
