Beware when they quote you for parts. I have been patronising their shops for years but in recent times when they quote me for parts, they have been charging me almost twice from what other workshop is quoting me. Seriously they do not care about regulars or not, they just want to reap you off if they sense they have your trust. So whoever wants to change parts, please do your homework by comparing around. - Kian Peng

I called to make appointment for oil change only. And was told to wait for an hour plus. Which I did. Then after an hour plus, I was told what are other issues which I think are small issues and my oil change not done! Apparently they wants make more money from you. If the workshop does not respsect your time and doe not regard your instructions. Then I will not give it a second chance!!! - MK Yoon

Sent my car for wiper motor repair. Suddenly tell me my battery alternator got issue. Both repair cost more than $1k! After repair, realised they break my dashboard. Make a comparison realised they charge very high price. Will not go there anymore! - Irene teo

I am planning to buy a new Mercs and saw Chip Soon as one of the recommended places to send a Mercs to. Despite not having a mobile contact, there will usually be someone tending to the office phone as long as within office hours and they usually pick up the phone quite quickly too. Had an arrangement with them for inspection today, went through very quickly. Jason was the person who went through the vehicle with me and was very upfront and honest about everything. Thereafter, when I called in to clarify on some of the pointers, he very patiently guided me over the phone as well despite the possibility that I may not buy the car or return to their workshop in future. I will definitely return to Chip Soon for future Mercs servicings and strongly recommend their services, especially for East-siders. - Tung Chijun
