I called to make appointment for oil change only. And was told to wait for an hour plus. Which I did. Then after an hour plus, I was told what are other issues which I think are small issues and my oil change not done!

Apparently they wants make more money from you.

If the workshop does not respsect your time and does not regard your instructions. Then I will not give it a second chance!!!

I am planning to buy a new Mercs and saw Chip Soon as one of the recommended places to send a Mercs to. Despite not having a mobile contact, there will usually be someone tending to the office phone as long as within office hours and they usually pick up the phone quite quickly too. Had an arrangement with them for inspection today, went through very quickly. Jason was the person who went through the vehicle with me and was very upfront and honest about everything. Thereafter, when I called in to clarify on some of the pointers, he very patiently guided me over the phone as well despite the possibility that I may not buy the car or return to their workshop in future. I will definitely return to Chip Soon for future Mercs servicings and strongly recommend their services, especially for East-siders. - Tung Chijun Post Management Response

I would have given an extra Star if only FB have the feature. Anyways... kudos to Jason and team. He manage to solve the 2 issues on my C180 W204. I have been to few workshops and all the diagnosis i was informed with was not very convincing. Prob 1: My car had idling speed issues. The RPM was moving up n down. It was not stable. Its like as though my car was gasping for air. And to make it worse, the ESP alarm came out as well. Jason manage to pinpoint the issue after diagnosing it with his lappy. A faulty throttle body. Problem 1 solved! Prob 2: My car recently was vibrating whenever it was in D & R. Engine mounts and gearbox mount was change last month, but it only dampens the vibration abit n it did not solve the issue. 1st time brought my car to Chip Soon. Jason took his time to troubleshoot the cause. From his trusty lappy, He saw my car load intake during gear engagements was too much. When steering wheel was fully turn either way, the load to the engine increases even more. Test driving the car confirms it. He told me it was the torque converter. Well a technician myself and by looking at the data shown on his lappy as well as the symptoms on my car, i was convince that Jason had nailed the root cause. Went ahead to get the faulty torque converter & ATF oil change. (It was due for a change anyway) The mechanic Ah Soon was task to change the faulty torque converter. He was very meticulous in getting the job done well. Took almost half the day to get the job done perfectly. Finally when she's ready to be crank up, the prob was gone. Readings of the load on his lappy also had reduce tremendously. Test driving the car confirms that the prob was gone. Yay!! Prob 2 solved! What a relief. Even get a free car wash. And 6months warranty. Drive my car home feeling satisfied knowing that my car probs was solved and not having to pay a huge sum for it. Thank you once again to Jason n Team. Sales enquiry is good, detail breakdown of costs.
Mechanic is good, good knowledge. Although i am not technically convinced on the wear and tear of rotor disc.
Price is reasonable. For changing brake pad and rotor disc.
Main thing is fast job, send in at around 1145am, job done by 1230pm. Not wasting time like in C&C. Post Management Response

Brought my W204 to Chip Soon to replace my brake pads and brake disc - checked several places for prices and found Chip Soon to be most reasonable.

Jason (technical in charge) was on hand to explain why the disc needed replacement and could not be skimmed.

I will be bringing my W204 to them for servicing in future! Post Management Response

Had a problematic check engine light which came 5 times during a month. Went to 2 different workshops and nothing was solved. At last, I went to Chip Soon Auto and the problem was solved once and for all. They really took the time to find the root cause of the problem despite the large number of customers there.

Price seems reasonable for my repairs and from peeping at the receipts of other customers =p Post Management Response

Collected my pre love E250 & Normally,when i take over a used one,prepare meself a couple of Ks to flush dis,clean dat,replace anything dat 
dun looks good.Anywae,pre own,u 've alrady save quite a bundle&Nvr,never believe what's the dealer tells u(all con men)dun worri brader,dis car is driven by an old auntie,who only drive to d market,no need to do anything,one.U dun need to open the bonnet also!!!!!

anyway,to cut a long story,short.
I noes my way,around mercs,own a w204 for a while,check out a few shops,can safely say,i overservice my c class!
So a week before collecting my latest,text a few places,call a couple of w/shop with my mileage of 82000(dis,my god,is a topic for another Post Management Response

Went to Chip Soon today after seeing from sgcarmart. The techincal adviser named Jason, attended my enquiry about my brake..he asked me to go for a test drive. After that I decided I wanna do my brake but he told me it would take some time as they have a lot of customers. I told Jason when I wanna come I will call him first. He didn't push me to sell anything but rather advised me. I liked his service. But i guess the reputation cannot lie..I was really shock to see there were so many cars..Will come back again in near future for sure Post Management Response

Why choose to go back agent to service or repair your Benz when Chip Soon can perform the same with 30%-50% saving ? I am a regular customer of CS and recommended many friends to them as I find that their charges are reasonable and service attitude of their staff is good . Look for Daniel or Ah Xiong who are specialist of Benz repair . Post Management Response

Just replaced air-con compressor, found out that the price of the compressor is VERY EXPENSIVE.

I am very impress by Daniel and his team in attending to my needs. He is very accurate, experience and patient in solving the issue. I sent in my camry today due to steering pulling, he managed to solve the issue for me within 15mins and he was spot on. Problem actually due to a tyre issue and he asked me to go back to my tyre dealer as I just replaced my tyres and rims without charging me anything. Honest and reliable!
