Ever since the warranty with MI on my FXT expired this year, I was looking for a good, reliable car workshop near my place in Bedok... Was recommended by a friend, who also drives a Subie, to give Mr Farman (ah boy) at FR Auto a try.

After my experience there on my first visit on 9th Jan, I don't think I'll bother to ever go anywhere else to service my car!

Mr Farhan was extremely polite, gentle spoken, super friendly, straightforward and honest. He even advised and discouraged me from installing an aftermarket part that I wanted, telling me that it would not actually provide any performance gain on the car. He was really easy going and made me feel really comfortable. I had an enjoyable time chatting with him as he explained what he had changed out, what's wonky and what to monitor for in the future.

Farhan also really knows his stuff, as a certified Subaru specialist (he proudly hangs the cert on the wall!) rest assured your car is in good hands. From the moment I popped the hood, he immediately pointed out parts of the engine that required attention due to wear and tear over the last 5 years. I did a major 100k service and swapped out the entire water pump, all the spark plugs (which MI apparently never changed! 🤬) CVT oil change, replaced both axle fluids, replaced the coolant housing, timing belt, replaced the air filter to a performance one, along with the usual oil change and filter. I was delighted to see that the bill ended up being very reasonable for all the stuff done.

Overall, I'm one super happy customer, and the FXT is purring along nicely like a kitten, and probably hasn't run this smoothly since I bought it on day one! Thanks so much Mr Farhan and all at FR Auto! I'll definitely be back. See you at the next service!

Came to Farhan to solve a lingering problem with my SJG. Immediately after he did a run with me he identify the issue. Solve it and found another problem with my car. Thankfully he spotted it quite fast. It could have had severe problem in future should I carry on driving it. Now the car feels lighter and more responsive. Would reccomend them highly. I got to know FR Auto through this recommendation on this portal and I have to say that I have no regrets from the day I first visited them. The Technical Guru on call (Ah Boy :)) and his staff are friendly and provide the best advice on what is needed to be done to resolve any issues with the car.
