As 2019 comes to a close, we preview all the new car models that are slated to be launched here in Singapore in the upcoming year.

2019 brought us an expectedly large number of new SUV models, but also several exciting, interesting and genuinely heartening new models as well. Cars like the Alpine A110 and the Toyota Supra prove that there's still a (admittedly small) market for exciting, characterful cars.

As we enter the new decade, expect many changes within the car industry. Here, we give you a rundown of the new models expected to be launched in Singapore in the coming year.

Alfa Romeo


Arriving: Q4 2020

The new MY20 Stelvio features exclusive upgrades. A redesigned centre console guarantees maximum efficiency and functionality, while autonomous driving features like Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Jam Assist will also debut. 

Aston Martin


Arriving: Q3 2020

The DBX, Aston Martin's first SUV built on a brand new, dedicated SUV platform, brings the brand's trademark sensuous design and sporty dynamics to the SUV segment. Previewed in late 2019, the car will be locally launched in Q3 2020. 

Vantage Roadster

Arriving: Q4 2020

Drivers looking for a soul-stirring yet hair-billowing Aston Martin experience can look forward to the new Vantage Roadster. It is set to be officially unveiled in early 2020, before making its way to Singapore before the end of the year. 


A1 Sportback S line

Arriving: Q1 2020

With S line equipment, Audi has emphasised the A1's sporty character even more, with athletic design touches like larger air inlets, additional sill trims, an elongated slit centrally below the hood with two fins and a larger rear wing.

A7 Sportback 2.0

Arriving: Q1 2020

For 2020, the model will welcome a powerful 2.0 TFSI variant to complement the existing V6 option. The Gran Turismo will feature quattro all-wheel drive as standard to deliver handling and performance that matches its exciting aesthetics.


Arriving: Q1 2020

The e-tron is the first full-electric production model from Audi. From its ample operating range to the high-speed charging capabilities and Audi connect functionalities, the e-tron is a car that's ready for the challenges today and tomorrow.


Arriving: Q3 2020

The update to the biggest selling Audi brings exterior design changes that integrates into the brand's new design language, as well as a large MMI touch display that offers smartphone-like operation. 

e-tron Sportback

Arriving: Q3 2020

This is the second full-electric model from Audi. It also introduces the concept of the 'Sportback' in the segment as it combines the power of an SUV with the elegance of a four-door coupe and the progressiveness of an electric car.

Audi Q3 Sportback 

Arriving: Q3 2020

The Audi Q3 Sportback follows the all new Q3 launched in late 2019. The compact SUV combines the strong presence and versatile everyday convenience of an SUV with the sporty elegance and agile handling of a coupe. 

Audi Q7

Arriving: Q3 2020

The second generation Audi Q7 undergoes an all-round update - both visually and aesthetically. On the technical front, the Audi Q7 will also, for the first time, feature mild-hybrid technology to further improve the efficiency and performance. 

Audi RS6 Avant

Arriving: Q4 2020

The new RS6 Avant combines impressive performance with top-of-the-line equipment. It offers the everyday practicability that is typical for the Avant and positions itself clearly at the top of the A6 family with its distinct RS design.

Audi RS7 Sportback

Arriving: Q4 2020

The new second generation RS7 Sportback is more unique than ever before. Offered as a wide-bodied five-seater for the first time, it also showcases the improved performance and efficiency delivered by a mild hybrid system.


Flying Spur

Arriving: Q2 2020

The new third generation Flying Spur features a more muscular design, a modern cabin of unrivalled luxury and innovation, as well as a host of assistance systems. Customer deliveries are expected to begin in Q2. 


2 Series Gran Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2020

The new 2 Series Gran Coupe is BMW's first four-door coupe set to compete in the premium compact segment. Built on a front-wheel drive platform, its elegant aesthetic and high-tech cabin further enhances its appeal.  

X3 Plug-in Hybrid

Arriving: Q2 2020

A new Plug-in Hybrid variant of the BMW X3 compact SUV will arrive on Singapore shores this year. The X3 xDrive30e promises exciting versatility and a purely electric driving experience as well as outstanding low fuel consumption and emissions. 

5 Series

Arriving: Q3 2020

The BMW 5 Series will undergo a mid-cycle facelift that will likely bring styling tweaks, equipment updates and additional safety systems.

4 Series Coupe

Arriving: Q4 2020

The Concept 4, unveiled at last year's Frankfurt Motor Show, is 85% representative of the new 4 Series, set to be unveiled this year.

6 Series Gran Turismo

Arriving: Q4 2020

The 6 Series Gran Turismo's mid-cycle update will expectedly bring styling tweaks, equipment updates and technology improvements.

M8 Competition Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2020

The first ever M8 Competition Coupe ramps up the performance credentials of the M8 Coupe, delivering additional power from the most powerful engine ever developed for an M car, sharper dynamics and even greater driving involvement and excitement. 

X5 M Competition

Arriving: Q2 2020

The first ever X5 M Competition combines the classical M blueprint for dynamics, ability and driving precision with the versatility, extroverted design and modern luxury that BMW X models are known for. 

X6 M Competition

Arriving: Q2 2020

The X6 M Competition draws power from a 4.4-litre V8 engine producing 617bhp and 750Nm of torque, providing thrilling power and acceleration to match the X6's sharp, dynamic style and demeanour. 


Arriving: Q2 2020

Positioned above the already potent M2 Competition, the all new M2 CS is an exclusive, limited-run special edition model that further augments the dynamic prowess and capability of the M2


Arriving: Q4 2020

The M5's mid-cycle update will likely bring key equipment updates to the model, along with performance and dynamic enhancements.

BMW Alpina

B3 Touring 

Arriving: TBA

The new B3 Touring is Alpina's high-performance, dynamic and (in our eyes) incredibly beautiful take on the BMW 3 Series. Expect plenty of performance, ample luxury and craftsmanship, and a deep sense of personality and soulful character. 


Arriving: TBA

The XD3 takes performance, driving dynamics and versatility to a new level. The 3.0-litre diesel engine produces 382bhp and 770Nm of torque, and the tweaked suspension and chassis makes for a highly dynamic and sporty SUV. 



Arriving: Q2 2020

The BYD Song MAX EV is an all electric compact MPV that offers seating for seven, ample practicality and convenience. The car is powered by a 120kW permanent magnet synchronous motor, and has a maximum speed of 150km/h. 



Arriving: Q1 2020

The new Cupra Ateca is the first model to be launched under the new standalone Cupra performance sub-brand. It showcases the new Cupra logo, as well as the brand's own interpretation of uniqueness, sophistication and performance. 


DS 3 Crossback

Arriving: Q4 2020

A new variant of the DS 3 Crossback will be launched late in the year. The So Chic trim will feature a 1.2-litre engine producing 130bhp, and is estimated to be priced at roughly $120,000. 


F8 Spider

Arriving: Q2 2020

Replacing the 488 Spider, the brand new F8 Spider is the latest in Ferrari's celebrated stable of open-top V8 cars. The celebrated 3.9-litre V8 engine produces 710bhp and 770Nm of torque. 

812 GTS

Arriving: Q2 2020

The brand new 812 GTS marks the return of a V12-engined drop-top model to the Ferrari stable. Drivers can expect to delight in the open-top joy of this grand tourer, coupled with a sonorous soundtrack from the naturally aspirated V12. 


Arriving: Q3 2020

The Ferrari Roma promises elevated finesse and refinement, with the new mid-front-engined coupe featuring refined proportions and timeless design combined with unparalleled performance and handling.



Arriving: TBA

The new fifth generation Honda City will be powered by a 1.5-litre DOHV i-VTEC engine, and the exterior delivers a more premium yet sportier look, while the more spacious cabin also offered unprecedented ergonomics. 


Arriving: TBA

The Honda CR-V will undergo a facelift, bringing with it bolder front and rear styling, new features and upgrade powertrains. Honda Sensing safety and driver-assistive technology is also expected to be made available. 

Civic Type R

Arriving: TBA

The Civic Type R will undergo a facelift in 2020. Details are presently unavailable, but you can expect light styling tweaks and equipment upgrades.

Ioniq Electric

Arriving: Q1 2020

The Ioniq Electric has been upgraded with a 38.2kWh battery, offering a WLTP range of 311km. Fitted standard with a 7.2kW on-board charger, the battery can reach 80% charge using a 100kW fast charging station in just 54 minutes. 

Ioniq Hybrid

Arriving: Q1 2020

The refreshed Ioniq Hybrid sports a cascading front grille that headlines stronger design language, while the cabin features a new dashboard design, an 8.0-inch infotainment display, and a 7.0-inch dual-mode LCD virtual cluster. 


Arriving: Q1 2020

The Venue, with its modern and bold styling, is Hyundai's new entry SUV and marks the seventh in Hyundai's lineup. It is powered by a new Smartstream Gamma II 1.6 engine with a new Intelligent Variable Transmission. 



Arriving: Q1 2020

Jaguar is adding a new 2.0 SE R-Dynamic variant to its facelifted XE lineup. The 247bhp 2.0-litre engine will be complemented by sporty R-Design aesthetics, premium interior equipment and lowered sport suspension.



Arriving: Q3 2020

Engineered from the ground up to be a true all-terrain conqueror, the Jeep Gladiator is backed by the brand's famed 4x4 capability. The brand's newest offering will surely delight those seeking new thrills and adventures.  



Arriving: Q1 2020

The new Seltos is a compact SUV that combines a slick and distinctive exterior design with advanced new technologies, ample driving capabilities and family-friendly practicality. 

Land Rover


Arriving: Q3 2020

The brand new Defender is an icon reimagined for the 21st century, set to bring new levels of luxury and refinement to a model famed for its peerless all-terrain capability, versatility and personality.  


LC Convertible 

Arriving: Q3 2020

Expanding the aspirational two-door LC family with its highly dynamic and luxurious driving performance, the LC Convertible now offers an additional way to stimulate the senses - with the top down. 


Levante GTS 

Arriving: Q1 2020

With a 3.8-litre V8 engine sending 542bhp and 730Nm of torque to all four wheels, the Levante GTS is mighty performance SUV capable of going from 0-100km/h in just 4.2 seconds. 

Levante Trofeo

Arriving: Q1 2020

The top-of-the-range Trofeo variant combines stunning performance, courtesy of a 542bhp 3.8-litre V8 engine and a new 'Corsa' driving mode, with ample interior elegance to deliver the ultimate Levante experience. 


G10 Executive

Arriving: Q1 2020

A new nine-seater variant of the Maxus G10 will be launched to complement the 10-seater model currently being offered. You can expect the same high levels of convenience, practicality and all-around utility. 


CLA Shooting Brake

Arriving: Q1 2020

With its striking and distinctive styling, the CLA Shooting Brake puts its own spin on the design idiom of sensual purity, while also delivering ample practicality and functionality where required. 


Arriving: Q1 2020

It may be the smallest and cheapest model in the AMG stable, but packing 302bhp and 400Nm of torque, the Mercedes-AMG A35 certainly has the dynamic prowess that makes it worthy of the AMG badge. 


Arriving: Q1 2020

The CLA35 share the progressive technology and performance capabilities with the A-Class, but delivers an even bolder and distinctive exterior design. 


Arriving: Q2 2020

The new second generation GLA-Class, the eighth model to join the lineup rounds out the current compact car generation for Mercedes. It represents the entry level into the brand’s successful family of SUV models.


Arriving: Q3 2020

The new GLB-Class offers drivers a unique proposition - a compact SUV that can be had with five or even seven seats. Combined with its rugged looks and distinctive character, it's a car that will have plenty of appeal. 


Arriving: Q3 2020

The E-Class is due for a mid-cycle facelift, and will likely feature refreshed styling, ample new interior equipment and drivetrain updates.

GLE Coupe

Arriving: Q3 2020

Thanks to a longer wheelbase, the new GLE Coupe will deliver greater spaciousness in the cabin. The interior will also feature modern equipment familiar from other models in the brand’s premium SUV lineup.  


Arriving: TBA

The EQC is a fully electric compact luxury SUV, and the first member of the fully electric Mercedes EQ family (expected to grow to 10 models by 2020). The EQC is powered by two electric motors that produce a combined 300kW. 



Arriving: Q1 2020

The MINI Clubman undergoes a mid-cycle update that features styling updates, new equipment and more personalisation options. The car will be offered in Singapore in One, Cooper and Cooper S variants. 

John Cooper Works Clubman

Arriving: Q1 2020

The JCW Clubman brings added performance, dynamic capability and sporty drama to the refreshed Clubman line. Power has been increased by 74bhp and 100Nm of torque, while you can also expect improved equipment and technology. 

John Cooper Works Countryman

Arriving: Q1 2020

Another 'hot' MINI will also be coming to Singapore, in the shape of the JCW Countryman. MINI has given its Countryman crossover the JCW treatment - expect ample power, sharpened handling and a delightful noise. 

MINI Electric

Arriving: Q3 2020

The MINI Electric is the brand's first fully electric model. Powered by an electric motor producing 184bhp and 270Nm of torque, it delivers Cooper S-rivalling performance, and retains MINI's trademark go-kart handling. 

John Cooper Works GP

Arriving: Q3 2020

Limited to just 3,000 units, the exclusive JCW GP is the fastest and most powerful road-legal MINI every produced. While exact power figures have not been revealed, the car is almost half a minute quicker around the Nürburgring than its predecessor. 



Arriving: Q2 2020

The facelifted Attrage will feature Mitsubish's new dynamic shield front design, a new rear bumper look, as well as new standard equipment such as LED daytime running lights, push button start/stop, Apple CarPlay and new 15-inch alloy wheels. 

Space Star

Arriving: Q2 2020

Together with the Attrage, the facelifted Space Star will also feature the same set of styling updates to go along with new equipment. Both models will be powered by a 1.2-litre engine. 


Two new e-POWER models

Arriving: TBA

Following the introduction of the Serena e-POWER, two additional e-POWER models in different body types will be introduced in 2020.

Arriving: Q2 2020

The new Peugeot 2008 is the latest compact SUV offering from the French brand, and is built on the brand's new Common Modular Platform. The 1.2 PureTech variant will combine French design flair with sensible family-friendly utility and practicality. 


Cayenne Coupe

Arriving: Q1 2020

The new Cayenne Coupe delivers all the technical highlights of the standard Cayenne SUV, but features revised design proportions to give the car a more athletic and sporty appearance.

Macan Turbo

Arriving: Q1 2020

The Macan Turbo is the new range-topping model of Porsche's compact SUV lineup, with added performance thanks to a reworked 2.9-litre engine producing 434bhp, 10% more than its predecessor.


Arriving: Q2 2020

Porsche's exciting new all electric sports sedan will make its local debut this year, and marks the beginning of a new chapter for Porsche as the company expands its product range in the field of electromobility. 

Panamera 10 Years Edition

Arriving: Q2 2020

A special edition Panamera 10 Years Edition, with exclusive design highlights and extensive standard equipment in the areas of comfort and the chassis, celebrates the 10th anniversary of the Panamera line. 



Arriving: TBA

The next generation Series III Rolls-Royce Ghost is set to be unveiled this year. It will sit atop a new aluminium spaceframe.

The contemporary exterior design of the new Korando compact SUV is complemented by a refined and premium-quality interior. The car also features enhanced driver assistance and safety systems, along with state-of-the-art connectivity. 


Forester e-Boxer

Arriving: Q1 2019

A mild hybrid variant of the Forester combines a 2.0-litre engine with an electric motor, producing a combined output of 156bhp and 253Nm of torque. The Forester e-Boxer will be launched at the 2020 Singapore Motor Show.

Forester e-BOXER GT Edition

Arriving: Q1 2019

This is a special edition Subaru Forester e-BOXER that comes with added GT Edition kit, comprising a front bumper extension, side skirts, roof spoiler, rear bumper extension and 18-inch bespoke alloy wheels.  


Arriving: TBA

Built on the Subaru Global Platform, the facelifted Impreza brings extensive new equipment to the model, along with EyeSight Driver Assist technology and a 2.0-litre engine. The Impreza will be offered in both sedan and hatchback forms. 


Arriving: TBA

Built on the Subaru Global Platform, the facelifted XV features EyeSight Drive Assist technology, as well as new equipment, Symmertrical all-wheel drive and a 2.0-litre Boxer engine. 


S60 T8

Arriving: Q1 2020

A new T8 R-Design variant of the highly accomplished S60 compact sedan will soon be offered. The plug-in hybrid T8 variant provides strong performance while also offering near-silent zero-emissions running in full-electric mode. 

XC60 T8

Arriving: Q1 2020

As part of the brand's commitment to fully electrify its passenger car lineup, the XC60 T8 R-Design plug-in hybrid will be the second electrified model offered in Singapore. The XC60 T8 will be launched at the Singapore Motor Show.
