While the new BMW M4 is widely expected to be only unveiled in 2014, that did not hamper artist Roger Lighterness from coming up with his own vision of how the M4 should like.
Most recently it was confirmed by President of BMW North America, Mr. Ludwig Willisch, that the next generation BMW M3 (F80) and M4 (F82) will indeed incorporate an inline six-cylinder engine unit as opposed to a V6. The new inline six-cylinder will replace the 4.0-litre V8 that resides in the current M3 coupe/convertible/sedan. It has been suggested that the six-cylinder will displace 3.0-litres and will incorporate BMW's new tri-turbo technology with a horsepower figure of approximately 444bhp.
